Failed To Load Hardware Monitor Driver Windows 10
Hi, I've been having some problems with my pc the last couple of days. I had a power outage and since then the computer's been acting up. I'm not even sure if it's because of the outage as I wasn't around when it happened. All I know is the computer was on when the power cut and when I later started it again I didn't have any sound whatsoever (still don't infact).

So I tried checking if the headphones where still working with a few other devices and no problem there. I also tried reinstalling the sound drivers but to no avail.
So then I tried doing a factory reset of the pc and it went well and I expected everything to be back to normal, but no. When I was trying to install the computer's drivers again from discs, I couldn't.

And Install Driver Easy. Run Driver Easy and hit the Scan Now button. Driver Easy will then scan your computer and detect any problem drivers. Click on the Update button next to each device to download the latest and credible driver for this device.
It went 'DVDSetup: Failed to load Hardware Monitor Driver! Must be run as administrator.'
Which I did but still the same. I've also tried multiple other solutions by searching google.
For example: I tried turning off disk integrity checks and booting in safe mode. No luck. Creative webcam live driver vf 0050.
I've also had an error message on startup and I'm unsure if that could be causing this trouble.
It says something along the lines of 'C:WindowsSystem32msxml3.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.'
So yeah, those are my current problems (even after a factory reset).
I would love to get som help on this.
Here are some of my specs:
So I have a windows xp and on the main identity I get the following message 'Failure to load hardware monitor driver' This is under the banner of 'slowdownCPU' This identity shutsdown everytime. If I log on with another identity and then switch to the main one (without disconnecting the other) then it works okay. Also I sometimes get a Norton 'Bloodhound' message in red, but itseems this is an unidentified problem rather than a virus.
Any ideas, please, anyone?
